AI vision cameras (found on the M10 and similar premium models) identify objects at 3-6 feet and plan a path around them. Vision-based systems recognize garden hoses, toys, shoes, and pets before getting close. No system is perfect though.

Small, flat objects like sticks or dog waste will still get run over.
