How Do You Store a Robot Mower in Winter?

When nighttime temperatures consistently drop below 40 deg F (4 deg C), bring the mower indoors. Clean the underside of grass buildup. Charge the battery to 50-75% (not 100%, not empty).

Store in a dry, frost-free space like a garage or basement. Bring the charging station indoors too unless it is rated for outdoor winter exposure. In spring, charge fully before the first mow.

RTK base stations vary by manufacturer, some are weather-rated to stay outside year-round. Check your model manual.
